Summer Camp

Ages 9 – 12

Location: Changes depending on the day

This program is designed for children ages nine to twelve years old to provide an opportunity to explore and learn with peers outside. This class centers around going on adventure hikes, learning about local flora and fauna, and social leadership skills.

Personal exploration is also a huge part of this program and we focus on encouraging children to share what they have discovered and learned with the rest of the group. We will also practice skills such as responsible fire building, map and compass use, shelter building, and more!

This program will meet at different trailheads in the Ely area.  Drop off and pick up Will happen at the day’s designated trailhead. This program runs from 1pm to 4pm.

To be able to run this program we need to have at least four participants. We will post on the Whats up Ely Face book page when we will be offering these afternoon adventures. Email us at elyadventureschool@gmail.com if you have any questions or if you would like to look at options of scheduling your own afternoon adventure with us.
